When Amy Adams hit the 2012 Vanity Fair Oscars Party in West Hollywood last night, I could only think of three words: Va va voom.

Amy stunned in a silver sequined Vivienne Westwood draped corset dress.

I love that Amy went short for the event – a longer length with this draped gown would have overwhelmed the petite actress.

Veronica Lake-styled waves would have complimented the beautifully structured top of the dress, but she she wears her hair down often, this updo is a refreshing change.

What’s also refreshing is to see her wearing a designer other than Roland Mouret.

Oscar Party Must-Haves

Bust out your voting ballots, pop the champagne, and get ready to watch Joan Rivers rip Hollywood a new one because it’s Oscar night, baby! If you’re behind on planning an Academy Awards bash we’ve got you covered with the perfect party favors, decor, outfit, and of course, beauty.

Roll Out The Red Carpet

Ever wish you could walk the red carpet? Well, dreams come true on oscar night. Lay down a plain red table cloth, like this one, in a doorway or down a long hallway so that all your guests get to make a grand entrance.

Shine Brighter Than The Trophies

Charlize and Meryl aren’t the only ones who get to wear shimmery dresses on Sunday. Opt for a glitzy mini like this ASOS number for all the glam without a couture price tag.

Brews Fit For A Queen

When the alpha males at your party pretend not to cry during Octavia Spencer’s acceptance speech and ask for a beer to hide their teary eyes, serve an Oscar-worthy brew with this diamond ring bottle opener. Elizabeth Taylor would approve.

Disposable Elegance

Champagne is pricey enough without having to invest in flutes for all your guests. Cuptainers makes plastic flutes in every shape and size so you can save your dish washer the trouble and just toss them out after the bubbley is gone.

Make The Best Hair List

Take it from Wella professional stylists: updos will be all the rage on the red carpet. Beat the stars to the punch and show off a glamorous chignon at your pre-Oscar viewing. One Goody spin pin does the work of 10 bobby pins!

Everyone Takes Home An Oscar

Leave it to an Etsy user to create the perfect Academy Awards party favor. If your favorite actors win, consider these lollipops a tasty congratulations. If they lose, you’ll have the chocolate to console yourself.

Rock A California Tan

If the bronzed babes on the red carpet make you suddenly notice that winter hasn’t done wonders to your skin tone, slather on St. Tropez skin illuminator. The flecks of gold give your face and body a sun kissed, natural tan without looking orange.

Invite All The Girls

Remember some of Oscar’s favorite leading ladies with these wine charms. Have a drink with Audrey, Marilyn, Liz, or Grace and cheers with a movie star at the Academy Awards.

Don’t Leave It Up To The Academy

The best part of any party is when things start to get competitive, so start printing enough oscar ballots to go around. Decided between Brad and George, Viola and Meryl, but bank on The Artist taking home the top prize.

Diane Kruger continued her fashionable tour of the 62nd Berlinale Film Festival on Friday night, attending the ‘Festival Night’ party hosted by Bunte and BMW.

The German actress chose this Alessandra Rich Spring 2012 look with contrasting separates for the occasion, pairing a silver stripe lurex marinière top with silk polka dot skirt.

I always appreciate contrasting prints when they’re worn correctly, but I’m on the fence about this look.

Perhaps if the skirt were a bit shorter I would have loved it.

A Judith Leiber ‘Jaguar’ clutch and hot-pink Miu Miu sandals completed her the look.

We aren’t joking.

Roseanne Barr, you know, the comedian and star of Roseanne, wants the Green Party to nominate her for President.

While we agree that the two party system is pretty terrible, we’re not sure she has the kind of skills needed to run a nation!

She said:

“The Democrats and Republicans have proven that they are servants — bought and paid for by the 1 percent — who are not doing what’s in the best interest of the American people. I will barnstorm American living rooms,” she said in a candidate questionnaire submitted to the Green Party. “Mainstream media will be unable to ignore me, but more importantly they will be unable to overlook the needs of average Americans in the run-up to the 2012 election.”

She has already submitted the paperwork to be considered in July!

The Green party holds a convention in Baltimore to decide. We’re wondering if they’ll not take her seriously… or use her fame to help give themselves a foothold in the actual race.

Guess we’ll find out!

How do U feel about this?? Do U take her seriously enough for something like this to be real??

Amanda Peet In Boy. by Band of Outsiders – 2012 NBC Universal All-Star Party

Amanda Peet joined Elle Macpherson on the red carpet for the NBC Universal All-Star Party in Pasadena, CA, on Friday night.

The actress opted for a very summery look by wearing a Boy. by Band of Outsiders Resort 2012 dress.

Amanda’s multi-coloured dress not only feels very out of season, but I would have also preferred to have seen it on someone like Leighton Meester, who would’ve given this look a better shoe option and a bit more swagger.

What do you think?
