Sinbad: Bankrupt… Again!
Sinbad is legally broke once again.
The comedian – who hasn’t exactly been burning up the box office in recent years – filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy last month, TMZ has confirmed. He made the same financial move in 2009.
In official documents, the 56-year old entertainer says he owes $ 374,979 to American Express… $ 32,199 to Bank of America… and $ 2.3 million to the CA Franchise Tax Board.
He also owes tons more in state and federal taxes dating back over four years, all of which adds up to $ 10,991,715 in debt. The problem?
Sinbad only claims $ 131,000 in assets.
He does, however, own at least four vehicles; home office equipment; and 200 copies of “Sinbad’s Guide to Life”, which are on sale on Amazon for $ 6.25 apiece.
The last time Sinbad filed for bankruptcy, the case was dismissed due to improper paperwork. We wish him the best of luck digging out of this hole this time around.
