Angelina Jolie In Ralph & Russo – Cinema for Peace Gala 2012

Angelina Jolie attended the Cinema for Peace Gala 2012 during the 2012 Berlin Film Festival on Monday.

The actress looked very chic wearing Ralph & Russo custom gown.

Her light grey silk cashmere herringbone tailored pencil gown with pleated neckline and matching belt not only stays true to her no fuss style, but it’s also appropriate for this charity event.

Angelina teamed her simple gown with statement earrings, glossy curls and a pink-coral lip shade.

Meryl Streep showed off an sexier, more daring side on the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Awards in London this evening.

Perhaps as an ode to the British award ceremony and character she playd in ‘The Iron Lady’, Meryl chose to wear a look by legendary British designer, Vivienne Westwood.

Meryl teamed her signature Westwood strapless black gown with a lightly embellished corset belt and a bolero with the same sparkling details.

This is a considerably revealing ensemble for the ‘Best Actress’ nominee, who we tend to see covered up and looking drab on the red carpet.

Despite her windswept hair, which is terribly aging unfortunately, I do love this look for Meryl.

It’s her best look so far as it actually looks like she made a real effort on this occasion.

Blake Lively For Elle US March 2012

I’m not sure what Blake Lively is currently promoting, apart from that gorgeous body and face of hers, but she has still managed to land yet another cover by gracing the March 2012 issue of ELLE US.

She looks simply sensational wearing a Victoria Beckham Spring 2012 dress on the cover which was shot by Tom Munro.

Looking through the rest of the editorial it becomes very clear why Blake was chosen for this issue as she dons many sporty looks by Isabel Marant, Michael Kors, Gucci and Alexander Wang.

In her interview she talks about not having a stylist (yes, yes, we know), the men in her life and much more.

The March issue will hit newsstands on February 14, or you can head over to Elle.com for more info.

On the men in her life: “I’ve had four boyfriends in my whole life. I’ve never been with anyone that’s not a boyfriend. If I spend time with a man, it’s because there’s somebody that I know well who has been a friend for a while.”

On not having a stylist: “When I’m going to an event, I’ll send Christian (Louboutin) a picture of my outfit and say, ‘What shoes do you think I should wear with this?’”

On kids: “I hope to have a few girls one day. If not girls, they better be trannies. Because I have some amazing shoes and bags and stories that need to be appreciated.”

On a report that she and Ryan Reynolds are looking for an apartment on Fifth Avenue: “Newspapers say a lot of stuff, don’t they? Though I wish I could afford half the places that I hear I’m looking at. Sign me up!”

A List of SAG Awards Winners 2012

“Dream big, dream fierce.” – Viola Davis, The Help

It’s an appropriate motto for The Help cast, recognized for their work as an ensemble, the top honor of the night at Sunday’s 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The awards show gives actors a chance to honor their peers in a ceremony that often (historically) sheds light on who will go home with an Oscar next month.

And features an A-list red carpet, of course …

Meryl Streep attended the 2012 Australian Academy Of Cinema And Television Arts Awards at Soho House on Friday evening in West Hollywood, California.

The ‘Iron Lady’ actress tends to be frustratingly inconsistent on the red carpet.

On this occasion I have no complaints as she wore a Cacharel Fall 2011 boatneck dress.

Her version has a slightly different print and a bit more coverage on the shoulders in comparison to the runway look.

This navy and floral print should be familiar to you, as Mila Kunis wore a similar version of this dress last year.

Black sheer tights, navy suede pumps and gold hooped earrings provided the finishing touches.

Amber Heard looked beautiful, as always, whilst gliding down the red carpet at the 2012 Directors Guild of America Awards in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

The blonde beauty wore a Roland Mouret Grindley navy jersey dress.

Whilst the dress peeps, drapes, plunges and hugs in all the right places, it’s a tad sheer.

In some pictures you can see her underwear which is unfortunate.

Luscious locks and pretty pink lips completed her look.

Bérénice Bejo opted for a flapper-esqe look on the red carpet for the 2012 Directors Guild of America Awards in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

Despite any strong feelings of déjà vu that you may have about this dress, this is the first time we are seeing Look 35 on the red carpet.

Her gold and black drop-waist dress with art deco lines, and a fringed skirt was teamed with Gucci accessories including a gold and black clutch and strappy sandals.

A side-parted, side-swept ponytail and gold earrings completed her look.

I hope we continue to see more variety from her in the lead up to the Oscars.

Amanda Peet In Boy. by Band of Outsiders – 2012 NBC Universal All-Star Party

Amanda Peet joined Elle Macpherson on the red carpet for the NBC Universal All-Star Party in Pasadena, CA, on Friday night.

The actress opted for a very summery look by wearing a Boy. by Band of Outsiders Resort 2012 dress.

Amanda’s multi-coloured dress not only feels very out of season, but I would have also preferred to have seen it on someone like Leighton Meester, who would’ve given this look a better shoe option and a bit more swagger.

Getting A Brighter Outlook In 2012

Add Some Tangerine To Your Makeup

Fashion forecasters have declare Tangerine Tango to be the “it” color of 2012, so start infusing the hue into your beauty routine. Try Le Métier de Beauté Sheer Brilliance Gloss in Orange Juiced ($ 32, Bergdorfgoodman.com), available Jan. 15!

Brighten Your Eyes

Apply a light eyeliner to your waterline (the line just above your lower lashes) to make eyes look bigger and brighter. You can use white, silver, or a more natural color, like Paula Dorf’s Enhancer Baby Eyes.

Give Nails A Burst Of Color

Keep nails looking trendy with a bright shade of polish. Brights by OPI is a collection with tons of great colors, including this bottle of Teal The Cows Come Home.

Brighten Your Complexion

The most important kind of brightening is for your complexion. Through a good exfoliant and a moisturizing serum, like Dr. Dennis Gross’s Active Vitamin D Serum-Oil, you’re skin will be glowing in no time.

Lighten Your Locks

There’s nothing like a bad hair day to dull your outlook on life. Cheer yourself up with some balayage highlights. Unlike foils, balayage uses a painting technique that results in more natural looking color. Celebs like Drew Barrymore, Rachel Bilson, and Jessica Biel are all familiar with the popular salon treatment.

Kissable Color

A bright lipstick is the easiest way to wear 2012′s trendy colors. A bright pop of pink can go a long way. Try Maybelline’s 24 Hour Super Stay Lip Color in Keep Up the Flame for long-lasting color.

Better And Brighter Wardrobe

It’s hard not to feel happy in citrus-colored clothing. J. Brand is just one of many denim brands that has extended their array of jeans to more than just the basic blue.

Line Your Lids In Color

Colorful eyeliner is a fun way to change up your look. Urban Decay offers their 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in an assortment of neon colors.

A Cheeky Start To 2012

A vibrant swipe of blush will have heads everywhere turning. Put some bright pink on your apples with Bobbi Brown’s blush in Peony.
