Get Olivia Palermo Look for Less and Steal Her Style

Posted by tina_peril

Actress, model, blogger, and all-around fashionista. Olivia Palermo knows her stuff, as well as her style. Walking the red carpet in an understated look, we decided to steal her celebrity style for our own…and we mean that quite literally. “Stealing” her style with affordable pieces, we’ve recreated this look that can walk right off the red carpet and onto the streets. Pair a sleek pair of dark, refined skinny denim with layers: a gold top, white cardi, fuzzy fur vest, and army jacket. Finish with a tidy tote and a killer pair of black bootie heels for a fabulously chic, yet accessible look.

1. Elizabeth and James Mercy Suede Platform Booties ($262)
Killer heels. These black booties are anything but basic, but they go with virtually everything in your closet. Pairing on-trend platforms with a classic suede bootie, these heels are finished with a lace-up strap and hidden back zipper.

2. Z Spoke Zac Posen Americana Satchel ($425)
A girl who’s got it all together needs a tote that shows off her with-it-ness. Clean lines in rich lamb leather, this satchel traverses the seasons with its seasonless gray color and timeless lines. Carry for work or play, its roomy interior works for all occasions.

3. DL1961 Kate Slim Straight Leg Jean ($168)
Red carpet-worthy denim, these DL1961 jeans are beyond basic…they are must-have! Their straight cigarette legs pair with pumps or booties, while their ultra dark wash works with as much versatility as a black pant.

4. Mongolian Shearling Vest ($99)
Jacket optional. For those days when a coat’s not necessary, a vest does double duty: warmth and style. This fur and leather combo works over anything from a maxi dress to a pair of flared denim…or pair under a jacket for an extra layered look like Palermo’s.

5. Urban Renewal Vintage French Combat Jacket ($59)
Military must. The combat coat, that little green jacket, has been spotted everywhere this year. It’s the perfect between seasons outerwear. Layer in a little neutral color while giving off a pleasantly vintage appeal. Zippers, pockets, and cuff-able hems for an authentic look.
